The remarkable culture and lifestyle of local indigenous people can be seen and experienced one hour away at Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. It is a UNESCO world heritage site located 18 km northwest of Fort Macleod.

In 1903, thetown of Frank experienced a rockslide avalanche, to learn more about this tragedy visit the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre which is a 10 minute drive from our park.
